A tequila that honors greatness, tradition and history.
As an independent, family-owned distillery, we’ve remained true to our roots. In 1986, Eduardo & Jaime revived El Llano to launch Arette® Tequila, named in honor of the Olympic gold medal-winning horse “Arette”, symbolizing excellence and heritage. Today, we are proud to be the only one of the “four founding tequila families” that remains fully independent.
Since 1900, we’ve nurtured our people, culture, heritage, and land, ensuring every bottle reflects our legacy and passion.
5 generations
crafted at the historic
“el llano” distillery
Arette’s legacy is rooted in the town of Tequila, in the heartland of Jalisco.
Tequila Arette is crafted at the historic El Llano Distillery, which was founded in 1900, making it one of the oldest distilleries in the region. It is located at the foothills of the volcano of Tequila, providing the distillery with mineral-rich deep well volcanic water.
two paths, one philosophy
our tequilas
For generations, master distillers Eduardo and Jaime OrendAin, now representing the fifth generation, have upheld the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
